Jodie Vicenta Jacobson
Profile:
Born in Colorado, USA in 1977. Lives and
Works in Brooklyn, NY.
Graduated from Hunter College MFA program in 2004. Currently,
Jodie is both and an artist and a curator.
She has had solo exhibitions in New York, and group exhibitions
in Argentina, Italy, Israel and Japan.
She was featured in Blind Spot Magazine Issue 30 and FOIL magazine
vol.1. Jodie is currently planning a solo exhibition in New York
and Berlin for 2008.
Currently she is working on a book project with FOIL, Tokyo.
Jodie Vicenta Jacobson's curatorial projects include exhibitions
with Darren Almond, James Welling, Ann Craven, Ellsworh Kelly,
Peter Coffin and Tactia Dean among others. She is planning a co-operative
exhibition with PS1/MoMA for summer 2008 and an exhibition at
the UBS Art Gallery in Manhattan for fall 2008.
