Jodie Vicenta Jacobson
Profile:
Born in Colorado, U.S.A., in 1977.
Lives and Works in Brooklyn, New York. Graduated from Hunter College
MFA program in 2004. Currently Jacobson is both an artist and
a curator. She has had solo exhibitions in New York, and group
exhibitions in Argentina, Italy, Israel and Japan. She was featured
in Blind Spot Magazine Issue 30 and FOIL magazine vol.1 and vol.2.
Her curatorial projects include exhibitions with Darren Almond,
James Welling, Ann Craven, Ellsworth Kelly, Peter Coffin and Tactia
Dean among others. While energetically curating shows for HSNY,
she has continuously photographed botanical objects as her theme
and created organic and prismatic pictures on which tenderly shower
of light are shone down.
